OMG UPDATE: Question? Answer.

QUESTION: Is there anyone who majored/is currently in engineering who has been able to take on a minor or even a concurrent BA? I would like to know how difficult it would be to make that happen...I'm looking into different universities and I'm thinking of majoring in engineering and doing a minor in theatre...I apologize if this seems like a silly question and thanks in advance.

  1. Typically there literally isn't the room in the program, unless you want to take 1-2 courses *more* each term on top of the 5-6 courses/term and the co-op and PD requirements that already make up the BASc requirements. I mean, you could probably do it if you jumped through the right administrative hoops, but you would end up basically having to work 24/7 and literally have no life -- for what? You can still come back after your undergrad and take Arts courses part-time via whatever Continuing Education department exists here at UW.
