Asking for good + cheap coffee on campus is like trying to find the Polkaroo. Cheapest are the C&D's - but it's Higgins & Burke, so bottom of the barrell. Don't get me wrong, it's not absolute swill like Maxwell House or something, but not much better either. But it's still better than Timmies, so that's saying a lot. For best quality there's the Starbucks in the new Sci building, but you pay a lot more.
The Environment Coffee Shop mentioned earlier buys its coffee from a local roaster and I believe it is all fair trade. Much better quality coffee than the other C&D's on campus and still cheap.
Math, Science CnD
ReplyDeleteScience student here: Go to the Math CnD. Selection is much better and the donut / coffee deal (if you bring your own cup) is amazing.
DeleteMath CnD for sure--they have good coffee. Otherwise most of the rest of the non-tims places are pretty equal.
