QUESTION: Does UW have a gym, and is it free to undergrad students? Do they provide introductory sessions for people who have not exercised in a long time?
Neither. You only need your watcard to rent equipment. At CIF (not sure about PAC), it's rare to ever get asked for your Watcard. I don't think I've known anyone to. Don't have to present it, just go.
For intro sessions you can try buying a shoe tag (this requires watcard id). You will get full access to various classes such as zumba, warrior workouts, yoga, etc.
PAC rarely checks watcard. My friend got caught in CIF and had to pay around $50 for the term (which is not too bad).
There are two, free for undergrads, just have your student card, not sure about the intro sessions.
ReplyDeleteDo you have to swipe your card?
DeleteProbably just present it at the front desk, I think.
