QUESTION: I'm interested in getting my earwax removed professional since I've been having trouble hearing clearly. Who do I even go to for this kind of service?....Does UW health services provide something like this?
Yup, any doctor's office should be fine. :) Its very straightforward, they just flush your ears out with water with a special irrigator. Feels kinda gross but works! Good luck, I've been there!
Yes, walk in clinics will do it. I had mine done at the urgent care on Victoria. It will make you dizzy for a few minutes since the water flow gets to your inner ear, but they get an insane amount of wax out and you feel so much better.
Health services will do it. Just walk up to the front desk and let them know that you need your ear flushed. There is a mandatory check with the doctor first, then one of the nurses will do it. Depending on how busy they are, it can take a while.
Most walk-ins do it. You can also try the walk-in clinic in the plaza.
