For co-op if you don't get in during work term 1 you are fucked. Look at the stats released - your chances are like 4% for future terms if you weren't hired in the first term.
Also, marks don't matter at all - it's all about connections. I didn't even get an interview with a 94 cumulative average and prior accounting experience while searching for job 1. Apparently it's somewhat of a problem because they hire based on personality/connections and then they end up with employees who aren't the sharpest.
