I was morbidly
obese, worked the fuck out, now i can see abs and though I don't like to
brag, quite big. Now my final goal before i graduate, get a girlfriend.
Is it sad to have a goal like this?
Serious question, how's the loose skin situation? My friend lost a shit load of weight quickly by doing purely cardio and taking weird supplements and now he has pretty bad loose skin
There is a bit. But if you get it to bf low enough it stops being an issue. If you are down to 12 % it really won't be noticeable except a small pouch.
Nah man, that's hella admirable congrats so much!!! That's amazing :) that shows so much commitment in and of itself! Nothing wrong with aiming for a relationship, just make sure you don't prize that above all else or lower your standards for someone lame. Go out with someone you're really compatible with and enjoy their company!! Again congraaaats!!!! Guaranteed there's people in your life checkin out your Facebook pics going daaamn. I know I would!!
That's great, but I hope you know that getting in shape won't magically make girls flock to you. My friends who aren't in shape generally do better in dating, probably because they seem less desperate and less arrogant. Not saying that you're either of those, just be aware that people will see you differently now and that can be an advantage or an impediment depending on your actions.
I'll agree that being in shape and being a prick definitely correlates, but if you're not a prick and you're in shape the flocking will definitely be real.
It's not sad, I dunno why so many ppl have this holier-than-thou attitude here. You aim to become physically, socially and emotionally healthy, I say kudos.
>dehumanizing u wot m8? how is an intimate relationship not human-like?
Nope- it's an okay goal- just another thing you're interested in experiencing. Just make sure you don't do anything desperate or feel like you're owed anything because you're fit now. As long as you keep that kind of stuff in mind and go about everything in a healthy way, the goal itself doesn't make it sad.
not gonna lie that is pretty sad

I asked a girl out for coffee, she said she has to go somewhere. I am gonna be consoling myself with a large pizza before I try that approach again
ReplyDeleteYou go, man!
