I'm on a low carb diet. It doesn't burn much fat on its own but it prevents me from gaining more of it. A low carb diet has to be coupled with exercise to reduce fat.
Personally, I choose to walk as much as possible (averaging an hour a day). Its my lifestyle now and feels very sustainable.
