QUESTION:
Has anyone been charged for having a fake ID in waterloo. It was my first time, was completely respectful and got charged 125.

  1. Good. You should be getting charged for being an idiot.

    1. You're a do-gooder piss ant. Everyone makes mistakes, and hopefully this one won't cause a blip on the OP's criminal background check. That's what I'd be more concerned about than the $125 fine.

It's good that you were "respectful", but I recommend just not talking to the police next time. You never know what you might say that they'll use against you.

  2. How do you get charged for having a fake ID? Just say you're not from UW and walk away. Same with if you get caught drinking at another residence.

    1. OP means waterloo as the city, not uwaterloo. That would not work if you get caught with a fake at a club.

    2. 2a You could still just walk away unless you're stupid enough to put your real information on your fake.

    1. Because some people think that they need to drink to have fun. It only lasts until 3rd year for most people when they start to realize that they are just making fools of themselves.

    4. You heard it here first from 3a boys and girls, no one over the age of 21 drinks or parties to have a good time.

  4. It doesn't really matter how respectful you were, it's still illegal.

  7. "I was completely respectful"
So what? That doesn't change the fact that you're still wrong.

Here's OP's position as applied to other circumstances:

"I was completely respectful to the guy I ran over, but I still got charged with reckless driving."

"I was completely respectful to the girl I punched out, but i still got charged with domestic assault."
