QUESTION: What does an orgasm actually feel like? Everytime I feel like I'm about to come, the feeling just suddenly disappears. Is that an orgasm?? Because if it is, it's completely underwhelming. Idk I guess I was just expecting something more mind blowing

  1. It feels satisfying similar to how a sneeze is satisfying for me.
I thought it was a little underwhelming the first time I had one. (Female btw)
Some girls make it sound like some sort of earth shattering experience that leaves them unable to walk, so everyone must be different because mine certainly aren't that impressive. I mean I can usually keep a pretty straight face during one.

  2. That used to happen to me (female) all the time. It just takes practice for some people to 'learn' to have real orgasms. WAY easier to learn while masturbating than with a partner, so if you're not doing that you should be. It just takes time - you'll get there! (and it'll be awesome)

  3. Assuming you're a girl, no, you shouldn't feel nothing. You would probably be feeling muscle contractions in the vaginal area, but different people have different reactions.

  4. Orgasms are a tricky thing, especially for girls it seems. Sometimes my girlfriend will have an orgasm like you describe, where it's not clear whether it was a real orgasm. Other times there's a clear peak but it's not super intense. Still other times she'll look and sound like she's dying or entering the astral plane. On top of that, she says clitoral and g-spot orgasms are very different.

Point is, keep experimenting with techniques and try to increase your arousal level if you want mind blowing orgasms.

  5. Some orgasms are better than others. Even if they are orgasms, you can do better (probably)

    1. I agree. I can have short, satisfying orgasms by myself or with a partner. I can have multiple of those ones. The only times I've had orgasms where my eyes uncontrollably roll back and my body feels pressure in every muscle are when I'm alone with a moveable shower head. THOSE, I cannot handle more than one. I wouldn't even try again within 4 hours... You should try it :)

  7. Try simultaneously having your butt fingered. Not kidding.

Not saying it will work but I know from experience it might ;) (I'm a girl btw but my boyfriend likes it too :P )

  8. Sometimes my orgasms just feel like that too, a sudden release and not incredibly satisfying. There's nothing wrong with you! Keep getting to know yourself and you'll probably find that you'll experience more than one kind of orgasm.

  10. As many have already stated, the experience of orgasm will vary from person to person. As a female who has been sexually active for about six years, I can tell you that the more you learn about your sexy bits, the more you will enjoy climaxing. I tend to orgasm from g-spot stimulation most of the time, and this results in an earth-moving and completely overwhelming orgasm. I often feel like I can't control my body's tremors and quivers for minutes afterward, and my whole body experiences this absolute ecstasy. A quick note: using sex toys during masturbation can help you to sort out whether you prefer clitoral/g-spot/anal/combination stimulation to help achieve orgasm. Have fun!
