Has your choice for a career, or a direction you wish you take for your career, been affected by personal morals or ethics? Simply curious.


  1. Consulting. It seemed like they were all trying to break all the ethical rules I lived by and it just wasn't going to work.

  2. I changed from finance to the sciences based on personal morals. It's a harder field imo but I think it's worth it in the end.

  3. I switched from sciences (bio, genetics) to social sciences. i realized that i couldn't work in a lab where animals were being poisoned and killed (for psychological experiments, no less), even if it wasn't me who was doing the killing. I did really well in my courses but it just broke my spirit too much to see that shit. I'm happier now, though it did delay me
