QUESTION: I was born in 1993 and I have an early birthday. This guy who I thought was my age, has a late birthday and was born in 1995. I really like him and want to be with him, but he did lie and tell me he was 21. Im also just weirded out because at some points I will be three years older than him... Can I just get some advice on how people feel about this?
I'd be more concerned with the fact that he thought it was okay to lie to, than about his age. In the long run, three years is nothing.
ReplyDelete+1 Exactly this. But you're question shows an extreme amount of immaturity which indicates you're not prepared for a real relationship anyway.
Deletehonestly the age difference is not a big deal but the fact that he lied about something so insignificant makes it seem like he will continue to lie to you in the future.. not worth your time
ReplyDeleteAgree with 1 and 2. He started off with a lie. It's not a trivial one at that. I'd say get away quick.
ReplyDeleteI'm 22, I dated 18 year old girl. age doesn't matter once you are in university (and not some super smart person who makes it to university at an age of <16)
ReplyDeleteWho cares about age but I'd run away from the lying.
ReplyDeleteI am older than my boyfriend by almost 4 years. Age is really just a number. I've met 30 year olds who act like they are still 16 and vice versa. I'd be more concerned about the fact that he lied to you.
ReplyDeleteDated up 15 years, no regrets.
ReplyDeleteBoo hoo, 3 years is not even a difference.
