QUESTION: I've been with a guy for two years, we dated over the summer and somewhat
over the fall until he broke up with me. I want to get over him so
badly but can't get him out of my head/stop analyzing our relationship.
How do I get over someone who doesn't want to be with me anymore?
get under someone else.
ReplyDeleteWow 1, that's some really original advice. But for real OP, just give it time.
ReplyDeleteIt's good advice. Rebounds are a thing for a reason, because they work. Legit, I got over my three year failed relationship finally when I started to flirt with someone else, it didn't go anywhere but made me feel good for the first time in a long time and gave me hope.
DeleteIn short, OP, moving on takes time at first, but once you meet someone else you're into, that's when it finally actually happens.
The pain will make you stronger, hang in there. Your brain will throw crazy shit at you for a couple of months. It's all my fault, it's all his fault, he still loves me, he never loved me in the first place, it's all just a misunderstanding etc etc etc that's just what brains do. View it as a sort of retraining. Your brain is sort of brute-forcing a new way of viewing the world. This is a slow and painful process but your next relationship will be better because of what you learned.
ReplyDeletecum to me.
ReplyDeletesee what I did there? Spelling "come" like "cum" to show that you should be fucking me. ;)
If that doesn't make you feel better, I don't know what will
