QUESTION: Has anybody shared a room with another person who is renting with Kw4rent? It doesn't say anything about sharing a room in the lease, so they won't be able to say anything if I do.. (not to mention all the other housemates are fine with it too...)
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
ReplyDeleteLike really what are they going to do about it lol
DeleteI'm currently living with 2 separate couples each with large pets in an "all-girls" KW suite. As long as the other people living there don't mind I don't think it'll be an issue.
ReplyDeleteRental houses are only permitted one person per room unless they are immediate family. It is a fire safety issue. Although I really really doubt someone would do anything about it, it is possible.
ReplyDeletelolwut? so you can't have 5+ people in a place? and you can't ever have anyone sleep over? sounds like bs
DeleteCheck with Off Campus Housing in the SLC they would know. I don't think #3 is right, that would be like saying married couples won't be able to live in a rented place and share a room. I think it's a human rights thing and they can't stop you.
ReplyDeleteIt's written in the KW4Rent lease that only one person can actually live in that room. Couples always violate that rule though. I don't know anyone that got reported before. Let's just say things won't be good if the management finds out.
ReplyDeleteEdit: I'm not sure why your lease doesn't mention it at all though. I live in 203 Lester and my lease specifically stated it.
