QUESTION: In courses where the prof lists bunch of chapters in textbook for suggested reading, do you actually read it? If you do, do you think it (usually) helps
1, understand the course
2, do better on exams
I don't because I have no time, but if I had time I would have read them.
I only do it if I need further clarification of the notes for that chapter.
ReplyDeleteFor early courses in Arts (i.e. PSYCH101/SOC101), you can get away with just skimming through the materials. Once you get to upper-year courses, completing the readings in their entirety becomes necessary.
