The good: practical experience (work terms), made great friends, a lot of memories, developed as a person
The bad: 99% of Waterloo girls aren't my type, shitty profs, shitty school atmosphere, don't have enough time to enjoy what I'm studying/extra curriculars.
If I had to choose again I'd probably stay with Waterloo, but Queens would be a very close second
2/10. Shitty frosh week, no gay night life (thanks ren), shitty admin, feds is a shitsack, plebs in my fourth year bio classes who don't know grade 9 math, useless academic advisor, and they never tell you important stuff in first year, like how to choose courses to open yourself up to potential minors. Also, don't get me started on living in UWP.
lol these are all choices you made... Didnt have to go to frosh, not sure how people not knowing math hurts you in any way, read and do your own research about courses n shit... and everyone knows UWP is a shit hole...
I haven't made a single friend, and I'm in 3B. I just have.. classmates. The cohort system really makes me feel like an outcast, and it's hard to make friends past first year since everyone's already found their group. It's my fault I was too quiet/shy to start conversations.
Other than that, school's great; I love what I'm learning, the profs are awesome, and my coop terms have been fantastic.
Get to try a lot of new things, great experience living away from home, but it's so hard to keep up with classes without constantly being worried about failing.
Lol.. I failed out in 1A. I came back and I'm still dicking around. I don't hate or like this place. This place is interesting, I met some really cool people. I hope I graduate though. 5/10 for entertainment. 8/10 for education. 9/10 for experience.

You clearly haven't developed enough. Queens is for betas.
DeleteOverall about 7/10. The beginning was extremely rock and idiotic, to be blunt, but now it's finally working out.
ReplyDeleteBy university it's a different story. UW I would give a 2/10. I had multiple issues with the university at the beginning.
But it's all in context. I don't feel like explaining the whole situation because I'm lazy right now and don't feel like getting trolled.
