QUESTION: Graduated from ECE
(Elec & comp eng) in June and I am still looking for a job :(. The
job market is pretty harsh, so just a tip for my cohorts that try to
secure a job with your co-op companies. Make sure you stay in contact
with your managers. Anyone else in the same boat as me? Feeling
frustrated :(.
MOD'S NOTE: #6559
Mods are quite stupid. I'm sure it's the same person that posted twice 'cause mods do not update/purposely leave out important submissions. They rather put up posts that are asking the same thing, than put up relevant and important info people submit
ReplyDeleteO.P. here - you are right. I posted it twice (6559 is me as well). I would not go ahead and call mods stupid but at the same time I am still unsure why it did not get posted the first time as my original post was quite some time ago. Either they missed it or it may not have seemed important as there might not be a lot of grads lingering on this website anymore. Hopefully it is not the latter.
DeleteOR
maybe I just have too much time on my hands as an unemployed grad;)
Don't worry good opportunities are going to come your way soon. Keep having faith and praying. Good luck to you
DeleteThanks 1b:) I really appreciate it.
DeleteI didn't know the job market for engineering wasn't good.
ReplyDeleteI know a guy in CS who who got a job right after grad and still gets job offers left and right. From that, I've always assumed that all math and technology related fields have amazing prospects.
They do. Not sure what's wrong with OP's situation.
