QUESTION: If I think someone is really nice, not completely physically unattractive and does not have a completely abrasive personality, do I ask them out on a date?
No...? It sounds like you're pretty meh on them right now. I think you should be somewhat attracted to them, and they should have a personality that matches well with you.
Why are you asking us? You're the only one who can decide whether physical attraction is more important to you than character. If you're genuinely interested in them, you wouldn't have to ask.
OP said 'not completely physically unattractive'. If you remove the extra words, OP used double negative. Not physically unattractive. So...physically attractive. To an extent. If that's what you mean OP, then I can assume you're not that into them, to be using double negative like that.
It was mentioned 'to an extent'. Either way, the way you phrase it like that already answers your own question. OP sounds like he/she doesn't want to date them.

ReplyDeleteDon't care about what we think.
ReplyDeleteDo you want to?
ReplyDeleteDo you want to?
ReplyDeleteIf you want to. Looks are not everything, and if their personality works for you, go for it.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to date someone, or think you may want to date them, then you ask them out on a date. Kind of weird to have a set checklist

ReplyDeleteWhen I describe someone as "not ugly", it does not mean they're pretty.
