QUESTION: if you were paying for school by yourself and a little help from osap, would it be normal to have very little savings after the start of each term?
Last year I had only about $700 in my bank account after having paid rent in September. Luckily I had a part-time job so I could still afford to eat...
Do you feel better now that you've let a bunch of people who have no idea who you are/don't care about your existence know that you are not suffering financially? What's it like being so classy and on the top rung of high class society?
I just think its juvenile when someone posts something which pertains nothing to the question asked...They obviously only posted that to boast about their financial situation.
Honestly, if you can pay for both school and living expenses with the help of OSAP and whatever income you have, you're golden. I have to rely on my parents to pay for everything :\ I wish I didn't have to.

ReplyDeleteI am paying for school with OSAP and a line of credit to mop up the rest. Even with co-op I am very in the red.
ReplyDeleteNo shit sherlock
ReplyDeleteNormally I work as a mercenary on the side. Last term, I finished with 123,000 more in my Swiss Bank Account after paying tuition and rent.
ReplyDeleteHook me up bro
DeleteI mostly relied on co-op and OSAP to pay for my tuition and living expenses. I barely had any savings left by the end of each semester.
