  1. I'd have some lovely piecharts on my wall if I kept track of these things...

  2. 80% added me
10% people i talk to IRL

  3. I've probably added 100% of my friends list. I only have my close friends on Facebook, so I tend to send requests to the people I really care about. I reject almost all friend requests that I've received.

  4. I'd 75% I added and 25% added me

  5. I don't add anyone. I have < 100 Facebook friends, and I'd say less than 20 of them are actual friends.

  6. I have 800 Facebook friends and like 2 "real friends"

  7. I too probably added 75% of my 'friends'. Depending on how close of friends we're talking about, I'd say I have somewhere between 2 and 5.

  8. I'm a girl.
I find that new guys I meet will add me first, and I find myself adding new girls I meet first.

  9. I have about 400 friends and I probably added half of them. Probably about 10% are people I hangout with in real life.

  10. I have never had an account and yet apparently I am tagged in pictures.

    That is not cool.

  11. got rid of facebook recently

i feel liberated, but at the same time, you suddenly get a better sense of who really cares about your friendship and who doesn't

    1. +1. THIS. People who do care would be in touch with you no matter what, and would find other ways to contact you. Getting off fb means getting rid of all the fake "friends" we don't want in our life.

Facebook is a really good way to contact those people who you aren't close with but haven't severed bonds with, but have just lost in touch.. they come in handy when asking for help, just in case.

    1. My boyfriend added me first. I don't see what the issue is.

  13. In general I don't add people, but if someone adds me and I actually met them or worked with them, then I'll approve them. I systematically delete ppl from my friends list on their birthdays
