QUESTION: Has anyone ever lived in CLV North (graduate residence) at Waterloo? Any Advice? I'll be moving in this upcoming September.

  1. Hey, I lived there for my first year as a graduate student. It is really great for people who are moving out on their own for the first time. They supply you with all the necessary furniture. More importantly, it is a great place to meet people and make friends. A good portion of my current friends are people I originally met at CLV. The rent is about 650 per month (sort of expensive) but you get a lot for it. Two people share a kitchen, living room, downstairs unfurnished den, LAUNDRY ROOM (YESSSS!) and the bedrooms are huge.

My advice would be to buy a fan (they get hot in the summer), go to all the CLV-organized social events, and for the love of god buy a foam topper for the piece of shit mattress they'll give you.

    Which program are you starting?
