  1. Smile, firm handshake, make eye contact, dress appropriately, speak slowly and calmly, research the organisation before hand, have questions for them, be confident, be qualified.

  2. the CECA interview preps are actually really useful. I booked an appointment and I was really impressed and gained a lot of value from it.

  3. Find our who your interviewer is before hand and blackmail/threaten them. Take what's rightfully yours.

  4. I find spending time rehearsing answers to questions before the interview tends to hurt rather than help. The answers I give in interviews come out genuine and as a reflection of the person I am. That being said, it doesn't hurt to do research about the company as others have mentioned above in order to help aid your answers.

  5. Be honest about your shortcomings, and say you are proactive about it.
For example, if said job requires to know Perl, and you dont know it, own up to it, but say that you are reading up on it, and will very likely be well acquianted with it before the term starts.

This is just an example. I am sure you will remember to be confident, and give a firm handshake and all that bs

  6. Brag about yourself.
    I'm serious.
I used to think that being humble and shit will be the way to go because i thought the interviewers will like the truthfulness but bragging within reasonable proportions is a must.
