  7. Science, employed full time until I start professional school in September.

The job market is difficult though, don't beat yourself up over this. It might take a couple months but things will work out if you keep at it!

  8. I am in the same boat. Arts -unemployed.

    I'm considering doing a post-grad in college.

OP, what's your degree in and what're you planning to do?

    Good luck.

  9. Job market in Canada/Ontario is shit right now. There's not much you can do except grind out applications. If you're flexible on location, that might up your chances a bit. Try not to let it get you down! We're all in the same boat.

  10. If you can't find a job you like, then make your own job. I realize not everyone is up to running their own enterprise, but being a university graduate, you really should have the ability to make your own way. Simply waiting for the phone to ring (inbox to chirp? phone to buzz? I suddenly feel very old...) is not really demonstrating the initiative that a university graduate ought to have. And most times when the university (any university) touts alumni, it's those who have carved their own success, not gone a worked for someone else, although it does depend on the program.
