That's different, the soft skills emphasized in some arts programs are easily applicable to other fields. For engineering you generally have to show that you are using actual engineering concepts (i.e math) in your position (beyond first work term).

Yeah. I applied for an engineering job once, and I'm in arts. Got an interview, but not an offer.
