QUESTION: Why am I not able to get a coop this term, every other term I was able to get it in the first round? My marks are ok, I think my resume is fine. I'm really scared I'm not going to get one.

  1. Narrow the issue down: are you getting interviews? If you are, your resumes fine, but your presentation during interviews lacking. If not, your marks/experiences/resume is lacking

  2. I had a harder time this term than others, same as all my friends. I think it is just harder this term

  3. As you go into your upper years, the competition between students gets very high. Don't be too hard on yourself, it may just be that other people are much better than you at almost every single thing. It could just be that you have not practiced enough, or just don't have what it "takes" to be employed. So don't worry, be happy - bob marley (fyi i don't think bob marley ever had a coop)

  7. OP here I've had 5 interviews, two if the jobs were cancelled. The other three I was ranked. This is my third co-op do employers actually focus on marks that much now? Plus my marks haven't gone down too much, still similar to last term.
