QUESTION: so i've been talking to this guy on tinder and he seems really great, and now he wants to meet for coffee. i want to go but my whole 'stranger danger' paranoia is kicking in. what should i do? do you guys have any good/bad tinder stories?

  1. I met a guy I was talking to on tinder a few months ago. He turned out to be a great guy and we're still dating. I suggest you meet in a public place and let someone know where you are and the situation.

  3. I have never met anyone on tinder, but the same thing would go for a blind date. Go somewhere public, and let your friends know where you are. I don't mind if a girl I am going for a date with openly lets her friends know where she is, and how she is doing.

  4. I think if he's a university student, and you met at a coffee shop, things will be fine. If you're really worried, request him to add him on FB and tell someone where you're going :p

    It would be no more dangerous than meeting a stranger who wants to buy your textbook.

  6. I've never met anyone from tinder but I've met a few people from online dating. I've never had any scary/dangerous experiences. (I am female) It's really not a big deal, as long as you meet in public and you don't leave your drink unattended and all that kind of stuff.
