QUESTION: I am in computational math, and i have quite a few cs courses because of it. Does anyone go crazy when there code doesn't work. Like I feel like I go mental when it doesn't work and start swearing. I didnt realize it until my roomate actually recorded me swearing at my computer while doing my assignment.

So does anyone else exhibit this behaviour?

  1. Yes. I do this at work and in the labs. It's normal

  2. Infact you are doing something wrong if you are NOT swearing at the computer

  3. It's normal for any kind of works. I swear at my paper when I can't solve the math problem.

  4. I don't anymore, since I code primarily in statically typed functional languages.

  5. Totally normal. Sometimes I swear at my code when it doesn't run correctly, other times I cry, and I almost always question my place at university. When I manage to find what was wrong, it's a completely glorious moment though.

  6. Was writing a spectrua clustering image segmentation program for CS475 this weekend. My image kept appearing sideways. I sit there banging my head on the table.

  7. Nope I don't. U know why? It's cause I plan out everything before I start and it always works like a charm.
