0 because my parents make too much. It's really not fair though because I'm paying for school myself so they should take into account whether your parents are helping or not.
But then everyone would just claim their parents are not helping. I don't get any OSAP either, and my parents are not helping me (although they said that if I ever need money they will help)
0. Parents make too much, but I have a bank loan of about $15,000 because parents couldn't afford paying for the tuition of me and my sisters, as well as pay for care for my grandparents. But I mostly just used that for my first terms before co-op, and since my first co-op term I've been making enough to cover the interest from my bank loan, tuition, as well as living expenses for both terms. They sometimes prop me up toward the end of the term, but other than that, I wish I didn't have to pay interest until graduation :/
Loan free and living at home. Not that I don't want to spread my wings and leave the nest. I just think it's easier to fly without bricks on my wings.

ReplyDeletenothing. I have to pay for everything myself and my parents are not helping me besides car insurance.
ReplyDeleteFinished with about $35,000. Even if I end up spending the next 30 years paying it off, it was worth it to get three hours away from home.

DeleteAbout 6k. I could pay it all now but why would I do that when it's basically free money for my next 2 years here.
