Didn't really know what to do after highschool, had the marks for engineering and everyone said it was great so I figured why not. Engineering didn't work out too well, but I've grown to like the school
I kind of knew I wanted to do something accounting/business related. So I searched for the most prestigious and most hard-to-get-into program. You needed a 95+ to be considered for Biotech/CA. Thus I came to be a CA at Waterloo.
I would not do this again if I could go back in time.
It was a cold, calculated move. Waterloo was one of the best for the program I got in at the time. Even when I changed my major, Waterloo still occupies a respectable position in the field.
Wanted to go somewhere new, get out of town. Applied/Accepted/Went to Waterloo without ever knowing what the experience would be like and was so thrown off day 1. But I have grown to like it.

ReplyDeleteCo-op, affordable housing to live off-campus, medium sized campus, less competition for sciences to get a good gpa for professional school!
