Ask the information desk! They can likely order anything you want in. We simply guess what people want in terms of non-textbooks. TELL US and we will deliver
They can do nothing about the prices. The prices are set by the publishers, not the Bookstore. The Bookstore already operates at a financial loss, and lowering prices would literally put them completely out of business.
Maybe rearrange the shelves a bit? Textbook all on one side and others on the other side, and a more open area for cashier! It takes indirect route to get there :(
What do you mean? All the textbook aisles face a North/South direction in the store, and the Trade Books (non text) face a East/West direction. They are already split up.
The line has to be indirect because otherwise the customers waiting to pay would be going into the aisles, and preventing students from finding books in those aisles. The snaking line only happens during the first three weeks of the term anyways, to account for the heavy periods of customers
.....Prices need to go down..........also offer digital books...somehow...just don't charge as much for ebooks as for the hardcopy, that shit is irritating
Again, if there is a book you don't see but would like to have in the store, just ask the information desk. We can order it in for you. We tend to order the most popular titles for the store - and when we see multiple orders happening for the same title - chances are we will order extra for the shelf !

ReplyDeleteGet that hot brunette working more, I need to hit on her soon
ReplyDeleteFuck you.
DeleteWhy?
DeleteDoing more with the non-textbook books. Doctor Who comics to go with the TARDIS merchandise, maybe?

ReplyDeleteThe no backpack/big bag policy annoys the crap out of me.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, its annoying constantly worrying about leaving your stuff outside the store when you want to browse for books.
DeleteThat's only during the first three weeks, and it's to prevent theft (which sadly, still happens more than you'd think).
DeleteThey don't have a porn section.
ReplyDeletelarger section for PCAT books please. Having Dr. Collin would be awesome...:D
