  7. I thought about it. If I was single, I would probably give it a try. Why not.
Some times I fantasize about my lover would look like:

    Extremely fit and athletic
Successful in her field of study
Long blonde hair, blue or grey eyes
Caring, affectionate, and is willing to take things slow
Same height as me 5ft8 give or take an inch, same dress size (2), same shoe size (we would basically double our closet!)

    1. lol you are pretty much describing the fantasy of nearly everyone (lesbian and straight) in the western world.

    2. Why does everyone want long blonde hair? As a brunette, hearing that always makes me a little sadder

    3. @ 7b I prefer brunettes :)

    4. Jesus, 5'8" and size 2? That's clinically underweight, not something to strive for.

    5. 7b - I don't have a type so much, but I definitely tend to slightly prefer brunettes the majority of the time, but it's all great.

    6. 7b, most people have dark hair, so blonde is the exception (although gingers are even rarer). Most people have dark eyes, so light eyes are also exotic. Blondes hair and blue eyes is the most exquisite appearance.

    7. @ 7d - I'm 5'9 and I'm usually a size 2, sometimes a 1 or 0 depending on the garment (my complete measurements are 35 - 23 - 34). I may be a little slim, but a lot of it has to do with genetics. 7 never said she was *striving* for this, as she is already a size 2. I'm going to assume it comes naturally for her as well. Please don't slap labels on sizes claiming something to be "clinically underweight". Everyone has different lifestyles, genetics, hormones, proportions, etc. I doubt that you would like it very much if someone said your clothing size + height made you over or underweight.

    8. Kay 7g, lemme just tell you that if you had a naturally thin body type, there is no way your stats (specifically boob & ass) would be that huge at 5'9". Please stop starving yourself.

    9. ^ that was not me, 7d, but yeah, those measurements sound... suspect.

So in particular, just like if you're overweight and should probably go to the gym to lose weight for health reasons, if you're underweight, you should probably go to the gym to *gain* weight for the same reasons, and eat a little more protein/fat. You're at much higher risk of osteoporosis and bone fractures, for instance. My mother is a little underweight and it's scary. If you're offended by the label "clinically underweight", do you also get offended by things like "diabetic"? "My pancreas is differently-abled!!" Come on, stop playing the victim. With measurements like that, if anything, you're very lucky indeed.

Also, 7 claimed to desire a woman with aforementioned body type. I think someone needs to acknowledge how unrealistic that standard is, because if I was still in high school, I would have thought it was "normal". You know, that whole "size 6 is the new size 14" bullshit. We're talking supermodel standards here... (maybe a little short for that) The average woman in America is about size 8-10, and your anecdote doesn't help with the impression that everyone can be model-sized. Size 2 for someone 5'2" is pretty small, let alone 5'9" @.@
