OMG UPDATE: Question? Answer.

QUESTION: I am a transfer student and will be starting my first year at UW as a 3A Arts student (legal studies/political science). I really want to get involved at UW can anyone suggest some ways to get involved (clubs, teams, etc.)? I know that it's probably too late to apply to any exec positions but there must be ways to get involved. Any suggestions would be great!
LSS (Legal Studies Society), Clause (mock trials, m&a). Clause isn't affiliated with the school but still great opportunities nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteHow on earth did you transfer to 3A? I know there is a cap/limit on how many transfer credits you receive. When I did it it was 5.0 credits (10 half courses).
OP here - the total amount is 10.00 credits (20 half courses). Thankfully I have taken cross-registered courses at UW throughout my last 2 years so I was under that limit.
DeleteYea...how did you get in at 3A? I got 6 credits when I transferred.
ReplyDeleteAnd be careful about meeting your requirements. At least half of your degree requirements must be taken at UW.
OP here - I received 8 credits and yes I will be in touch with advisors to make sure I am on track with that. Thanks for the advice :)
