Welcome back to Canada OP. Wow nice that you had a chance for a work term in India by the sounds of it. Naw I stayed local so I didn't get the chance to notice the strong increase first hand. But checking online in that time India's population went up about 6.8 million people. That's like 1.6% annual growth - kinda stable not strong? Don't know about the rest of the south asian population tho as I wouldn't want to generalize.
Yeah. When I was studying for exams at the end of last term the only other people around me were mandarin chinese. For like 3 days straight.
