QUESTION: Does anyone ever think that their best friend is no longer really their "best friend" because you guys have drifted away from each other and are not as close as you would like your best friend to be and the title "best friend" is just kinda an empty title?

  1. Felt like that one time. Was best friends with a guy in high school, but rarely talked to him once grade 12 started, for whatever reason. He passed away after my first year and I was left wishing that I had reached out/hung out with him more often. My advice would be to just ask them to chill if you want to be closer/have what you used to have.

  3. YES. Although I never really had a "best friend", rather a bunch of close friends. But none of us are super close anymore.

  4. Yeah. Have a friend who I've known since I was 3 and we were practically brothers throughout high school but we've drifted apart throughout university. We're both highly focused on our careers and post grad school though. We are still close when we hang out but that's a rare occasion. It's kind of weird growing up.

  5. I have noticed some drifting from my best friends. What makes us best friends is we don't let ourselves drift apart to far for too long. We work to keep our friendship alive.
