When it comes to
dating a guy, is it important to girls how big and fit he is? I've
always wished to date buff guys cuz it makes me feel protected. But it's
so hard to find one with the brains and personality I want!
Find a smart guy who as the body type to become muscular, but if currently out of shape, then go to the gym a few times a week with them when in a committed relationship. After a bit of time, you have the perfect boyfriend. But you better be hot and smart, because girls flock to us when we are buff.
What do you need protection from, this isn't a third world or war torn country. If you're single and managed to stay safe all this time why does a potential boyfriend have to protect you from imaginary fears?
From what little I understand of women, I think they consciously know that they don't necessarily need protection from any physical threat but, on a more emotional level, like the idea of it anyways.
I agree with 8 and I'm skinny (although I don't want to protect them- I just want them to be lean and kinda feminine- I hate muscular guys and I think most girls would take a tall, lean guy with a cute *somewhat* feminine face over a buff guy any day)
Ditto on the smaller part. My boyfriend is about 5'8" and tiny at 120. I always joke that I'm going to start buying him little kids clothes. Hairy as heck, though so the femme thing doesn't really apply.
Unless YOU are smart, have a smoking body and a great personality...you should probably lower your standards.

DeleteTo answer your question simply: no, it's not important at all. As long as the guy is bigger than me, since I'm already as small as can be.
ReplyDeletelmao u dont live in a jungle... physical size should not make u feel protected in any way

DeleteNo, I actually prefer smaller, femme-ier guys; I wanna be able to protect them, too!
ReplyDeleteDon't take this the wrong way, but are you perchance a "bigger" girl?

DeleteI'm the opposite of you, overly buff guys kind of scared me. My type was just thinner toned guys.
ReplyDeleteI somehow ended up falling for a bodybuilder for his personality.
