When I'm away for a study term, I usually call home two-three weeks. I usually talk to my mom for the most part, and then my dad and little sister occasionally (maybe once every two weeks).
However, I'm lucky to be at home during this work term, so basically everyday.
Only child, try to call to my parents at least once a week, this term it has dropped a bit, but when I am on co-op not much changes with me. I text both my parents almost daily, even though I know they will tell each other whatever I text them. I usually talk more with whoever answers the phone when I call. Most of the time its my mom because she sits on the side of the couch nearest to the phone, and she broke her pelvis horseback riding, so there is always more to talk with her about her healing progress.
Usually 3-4 times a week (parents and little sister). I'm pretty close with all of them, so I'd say call time is equally dispersed between the three of them. I usually text my sister daily, though.
Parents: maybe once a month? (but we have decided to change that after having a 2 hour skype video call, both my parents and i realized how much we missed talking/seeing each other on skype. They live in Hong Kong).
Younger brother: (who lives in Montreal now) I message him sometimes on facebook but he rarely replies with more than 4 sentences. pathetic really. He never initiates a conversation.
Sibling: daily, lives in the next room.
ReplyDeleteMom: About daily
Dad: Once a week (barring cameo appearances on Mom's Skype)
do you own a 3ds?
DeleteParents: daily, I live in their basement apartment
ReplyDeleteSister: once every few weeks to months - she lives in the states, we aren't close.

Pretty much ranges between every day to every two or three days a week. It varies but I still keep in good contact with most of them.
ReplyDeleteBrother: NEVER, GUY DOESN'T RESPOND TO EMAILS.
ReplyDeleteIF YOUR SIBLING EMAILS YOU, RESPOND WITHIN THE MONTH PLEASE.
Maybe you should call instead

ReplyDeleteBrother: he's rebelling against the family so I don't hear from him unless he wants something.
