  1. They met two years before my birth thanks to a police officer that they were both friends with, back then. After that, they started dating, then they moved in together along with some of my other siblings and then bam, there goes history.

  11. My dad went to visit his dad one day in his office and met my mom. My grandpa was my mom's boss at the time. My mom is always smiling and my dad thought she was smiling at him when she wasn't. Lol it was like love at first sight for my dad. They became friends, dated after a few months and got married after about two years of dating. They're still happily married and cute.

  17. My Dad who was running for public office in Toronto in the 80's, mistaken my Mom for a high profile socialite when she was actually a maid in the hotel he was staying at. After sorting through issues of social status they decided to get married because they were meant for each other.

  19. Hitchhiking. My mom was going to a dance with a friend. On their way they happened to meet this group of guys and started to joke around with them as they passed by. Eventually, one of the guys (who would become my father) asked them where they were going. They were all headed to the same place so he offered them a ride. My mom and her friend histantly got in the car. My mom and dad ending up spending the night dancing together and after a few phone calls from my dad to her friend's phone(my mom was too scared to give him her own number) they started dating. Been together since then.

  20. My dad's buddy from University convinced my dad to join him at my mom's birthday/Halloween party at a local bar. Mom and Dad met and started casually dating and then Dad drunkenly proposed over the phone a few years later. They got married and got excited to travel the world when I unexpectedly foiled their plans by being born. Now they travel the world with my brothers and I.
