QUESTION: Being honest, who here actually uses study drugs? Have you ever? What is your opinion on people that do?

  1. I don't use. I never have. I can't really blame people for using them, but I feel somewhat cheated.

    2. He means he doesn't give a fuck whether other people use drugs you fucking moron. And he posted it because, hey, look at what fucking question is asking. Dipshit.

    5. lol it's hilarious people who tries to put down other people only to look really stupid, but at least 2a didn't didn't use improper grammar

    6. ^ Agree with your point, but the grammar nazis really piss me the fuck off. Half the time their grammar is pathetic and very easy to shred. It's like a fucking patzer teaching you how to play chess.

    7. 2a should consider using some study drugs

  3. I do, although I am prescribed them so I don't think that counts. But I swap with other people to try different kinds.

  4. I have, don't use anymore though. I've used: adderall, vyvanse, ritalin and concerta.

  5. i have not simply because i dont know how to acquire some.

  6. Have not. Would not unless I was absolutely, irredeemably fucked for an exam or massive assignment, and even then, only once. Don't care whether people do or not, as long as they're not selling themselves for crack money or something similar.

  7. I've never really needed to, I have pretty good study habits as is. But if other people want/need to use them, good for them, it's none of my business.

  8. Don't use, never used. I don't think users are doing themselves any favours, but neither are they harming others. I guess I'm glad that I don't need to rely on them to do as well as I do, which is well enough for me.

  9. As long as you have the ability force yourself to study I'm pretty sure they're not required. I haven't used them but I don;t think they'd allow me to get higher marks. If on the other hand its the time you can stay in your seat that's limiting your marks then they could be super useful. I don't really care about others using them because its not like it makes anyone smarter.

  11. never considered it because my avg is 85 and I'm not trying to get into med school. don't see the point, for me. unless caffeine counts.

  12. Yo. Noontropics are the shit. My buddy used to just import them and give me different types. Brought grades up a solid 10-15%. If I stop taking them like I do for co-op I feel no ill effects. Best choice I've ever made. They just make you're brain better at absorbing info.

  13. Nope, never used. I know people who frequently use them. It's cheating. Is a performing enhancing drug, its illegal in sports, its illegal here at university. Its not fair to the people who don't, because at the end of the day we get the same recognition.

    1. ^ The difference is those of us using smart drugs get to keep our advances, where in sports you only win a single competition and then the effects disappear.

    2. ^ I think people who study memory would disagree with you, but if it makes you feel better about your poor life decision, carry on.

    3. ^ What are you talking about. It helps me memorize and then when I stop using them I still have good recall. Do you understand how they even work?

  14. Nope. Not even coffee or chocolate, I seriously feel that will-power should be the device that gets me through the day. It should motivate me past that morning stupor and that if I can't do it on my own then I just need to own up to it rather than force my body and mind to accomplish what is beyond its natural reach.

    1. Drugs just expand your mind to its true potential. A lot of geniuses throughout history have used drugs and benefited from them.

Just try not being such a tight-ass. And most chocolate has very little caffeine. Live a little.

  15. NZT. I've built it into a gland in my brain. Average is over 9000

  16. I've used adderall and vyvanse before to study. Stopped using them after a while when I gained a dependence to them. They work extremely well and all but at the cost of possible addiction

  17. Okay can people like tell where to get this stuff? So hard to find them :(

    ReplyDelete
  18. Anyone with ADHD who has a prescription. I get it from a friend. Don't go looking for drug dealers.

  19. I would say most people get them from someone with a prescription, like a friend. Or I bought some off a friend who bought them off their friend with a prescription, as far as ritalin/concerta are concerned.

I suppose you could try lying to a doctor at Health Services to try and get a prescription for some ADD/ADHD meds?

    1. ^ Not easy. You need to pay for a full psych exam to be diagnosed, $2k+ out of pocket. The university doctors aren't dumb.

    2. 20 a. That's not true at all. My mom sent me to a psychiatrist because she thought I was depressed. 50 minutes later I walked out diagnosed with ADD and a script for adderal. They hand that shit out like candy.

  20. Don't start it. My buddies have built up a a huge dependence on it. They just bought 26 adderalls between 2 guys for exams. That isn't healthy at all.
