Aw man, I really wanna go this year! I went last year. I believe it cost me a little under $500 for the ticket, transportation and hotel, plus a bit extra for food.
I got a weekend pass for $200, stayed at a friends in mtl, probably spent another 250-300 at the festival itself (booze, metro passes, whatever). Expensive weekend but worth it.
OP here. Yeah I looked into already. It is a lot cheaper but it's 10 days long and the artists are so spread out. Not sure if I'd say the lineup is better but it's good. That $99 early bird youth pass is clutch though

ReplyDeleteThat sounds about right.
DeleteYep, had a friend who went. You can expect to spend around 500$
DeleteYeah, that's around what most people are saying it will cost. I just wonder if it's worth it
DeleteIf the lineup has a few people you love, it's worth it :)
DeleteGood point!

ReplyDeleteI want to go but damn it sounds expensive for a weekend. If only Toronto had an equivalent remotely close
ReplyDeleteOsheaga looks uber shitty this year. Check out Bluesfest in Ottawa. Cheaper and way better lineup

DeleteBought a ticket the day they came out. Too stoked for it
ReplyDeleteIt's worth it. Tons of drunk chicks you can take advantage of. I suggest you bring some roofies.
ReplyDeleteCool bud.
