QUESTION: What are my chances of having a UW parking ticket dismissed if it's my first one ever? Are parking services merciful people?

  1. they usually dismiss your first ticket when you take it in to pay

  2. I got my first ticket because my ticket flipped over when I closed my door, they let it go, but they said I will have to pay if it happens again.

  3. If you go into the parking office and are NICE, they will dismiss your first one.

  4. Don't go in to dismiss it! If you haven't registered your car yet then they can't really penalize you. You can accumulate a few tickets before they will take any action, but as soon as you pay a ticket your license plate is in the UW system.

    1. three! You can accumulate three tickets, then they tow your car on the fourth. It's $90 to get your car back, and you have to pay the tickets at that point.

  5. I drove my dad's car occasionally, it was not registered, let it get to 8 tickets before I stopped parking it there. The fear of getting it impounded and having to pay all the unpaid tickets was too great. So if it's not registered park away without paying - but not too much!

  6. Don't park illegally and you won't get ticketed. Grow some balls, own up to being a retard and pay your ticket. Pretty simple OP.

    1. Right. Because Waterloo doesn't already screw us for enough money. Who is financially doing better, UW or OP?

You are the retard for asking him to pay a ticket that he might not have to pay.
