QUESTION: Has anyone else ever failed a course twice?
I got an email saying I need to petition to take it again, and even then it might not count towards my degree, just as as a prerequisite.
It says the petition process will advise me how to fill the missing credit...
If this has happened to you, what happened? How did you get the credit?

I did.
I passed the third time, so it fulfilled the requirement for my academic plan. But to fill the "credit hole" my program advisor sent me a list of courses to choose from,

Just fill out the petition, and you will receive an email with what to do next. It was surprisingly straight forward :)
