QUESTION: Any restaurants in Waterloo (table service, not take out) where you would feel comfortable dining alone? Maybe even having a solo drink while studying?
Basically all of them. The only restaurants I wouldn't go to alone are for logistical reasons (food sharing), or maybe some of the ones on the pricier side (Bhima's).
Studying at them though? Fuck, study at home. You're occupying a table that could have a paying customer at it.
kickoffs, for a drink. You could probably get food to go with it.

ReplyDeleteSymposium is decent- it has the coffee shop vibe, but a full menu and it's licensed.

I'll go to watch the game at Shoeless occasionally... I've found the people there friendly enough that I usually have a good time.

ReplyDeleteMarbles.. Tiny place behind the Hsb bank in uptown. At lunch I've gone in and not been the only one dining alone.
