Argon oil, but I prefer putting it in before a wash. Coconut oil is the cheaper version. Also your hair might smell like the oils a bit if you put it on after a wash.
I rub about a nickel-sized amount into the ends after towel-drying every time I wash my hair. I got my hair cut about 4 months ago and no split ends. :)
I have hair down to my boobs and often slather coconut oil on my hair before bed. I then wake up and shower in the morning, shampooing twice or using a clarifying shampoo.
I leave it in for about an hour before I wash my hair, although it's a little bit hard to wash out, it makes it super soft and shiny.
