Yes my roommate used to work as one of the front desk people there and she had access to everyone's transcripts. She told me she would just go and look up the ones of people she knew because she was curious. Not right imo but whatever
I knew a guy who did the same thing. He told us he knew all of our grades. I thought he was an asshole in general so this didn't really change my perception of him.
I'm sure other departments on campus have access to this too but I would think the Registrar's Office has access to student transcripts/grades
ReplyDeleteI would imagine so. When you ask for your transcript, you go to the Registrar's Office, right?
ReplyDeleteIf so changes some of my marks. It'd be appreciated
ReplyDeleteDepends on the role of the person working there, but in general, yes.

ReplyDeleteShe signed documents saying she wouldn't and a huge breach of privacy.
DeletePeople hand in bursary applications plan modifications etc all the time with their cumulative average on the front page staring you in the face.
DeleteAlthough this is a bit different.

DeleteI'm pretty sure all staff that have access to quest can view transcripts. Adjusting marks is only available for those with that role though.
