QUESTION: How old are you?
Are you in your undergrad or graduate studies?
What year are you in? What are you studying?

I feel I am a lot older than my first year classmates - am I the only one who took more than a 3 years off after high school?

  5. >3 years? The fuck were you doing? It gets much harder to get accepted to uni these days if you take a gap year, let alone >3...

22... 4A according to quest, 14 months to go.

    1. I was working. I had a really awesome career that I was moving up in, and it was really hard to leave it to go back to school. But I knew in the long-run, school would help further my career.

And clearly a break doesn't make it harder to get into University as I got in with early admissions. Don't listen to the lies your guidance counselor tells you.

    2. @10: so what?? Not everyone has to take the "same" direct path most people take.

    3. @10b: While not everyone has to take the same path, I can't imagine its very fun to be 22/23 going into first year.
