  3. Generally no..

Prefer coffee.. but coffee buzz can be intense sometimes, too.

The best is drinking a lot of tea, the buzz doesn't hit you like a brick.

  4. Nay. Coffee works much better for me. Energy drinks can only keep me up for a few hours but coffee lets me go for several hours. Also, it's cheaper and tastes better.

  6. Nay. What's the point? Just drink coffee. The extra stuff in energy drinks does nothing. There is about the same amount of caffeine in coffee and energy drinks and coffee isn't full of sugar

  7. Hell to the no. I don't drink energy drinks, coffee or anything that could 'pick me up' in the morning or throughout the day. I just get a good amount of sleep, and I mostly drink water throughout the day. I find that being hydrated keeps me going for the day.

I like to avoid as much sugar and caffeine as humanly possible.

    1. Same here, I drink herbal and white teas because I like the warmth, but I hate caffeine. I had a black tea once in the morning before an exam and my heart was racing so fast I had to sit still for ten minutes to calm down.

    1. You have to realise this makes no scientific sense and is all psychological

    3. ^ I don't think so. Caffeine is absorbed differently, depending on what you're ingesting.

    4. @ 9a, but the energy drinks I drink have more caffeine than coffee and other supplements (vitamin b, ginseng, taurine). I also generally dislike the taste of coffee, and hate coffee breath.

But when pulling all nighters for essays coffee gets me hyper quickly but wears off faster. It's not very effective for writing. Energy drinks seem to last much longer.
