QUESTION: Has anyone worked for CSIS before or would like to work for them? I'm kind of interested.

    1. Who said that's what OP was interested in though?

  4. Depends on what you want to do at CSIS I guess, not everyone works in intelligence gathering.

  5. I know of someone who wants to work for them. He's doing basic training in the military. I'm not sure if that's a requirement.

I am also aware of how CSIS agents have treated people that they arrested using security certificates, and I'm not too impressed. They don't seem to know what they are talking about at all, or have done even basic research into the topics or countries that relate to the situation. It's likely that if you go to work for CSIS you will be surrounded by ignorant idiots. You might also have to do really stupid things and be nasty to ordinary people. I'm assuming this is not what appeals to you about the possibility of working there, so I thought I'd warn you.

  6. They usually are not allowed to say they work there, so I doubt there will be many answers

    1. What was the pay?

    2. The pay is posted somewhere on their website. I remember the intelligence officers making like 55-75k a year or so, depending on seniority, but I could very easily be wrong. I have not looked at it in awhile.
