  1. I work part-time in retail, I usually only get 10 hours or less a week. It's good for extra money for food and stuff.

  2. I work full-time on co-op terms and have at least 1 part-time job on academic terms.

  4. I worked part time in retail during my first two at Conestoga in Kitchener. It was both my first job and I had been working since Grade 11. Because of my time at Conestoga, I only had to do a minimum of two shifts every two weeks, so a weekend would be dedicated to that.

In order to go into my current program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, I have had to leave that job after four years. It'll be interesting to look for summer employment but you have to do what you have to do!

  6. Nope! Not a formal job anyway. I do contract work for my uncle's company here and there. Usually less than 30 hours a month.
    I wouldn't mind a 6-8hr/week job on campus though.

  7. I currently work full time (about 45 hrs / week) in addition to full time studies. My classes are mostly online with one night class, and this is my best term so far. I'm so much more focused when I'm working on school reading/studying because I know I only have limited time.

  8. I work part time during all terms. Not an awful lot of hours but being a commission based job, i make just as much money as I would working a full time job in retail or on campus.
