And I'm a depressed, socially inept dermatillomaniac with multiple dead childhood friends so maybe think a little harder about what you don't know about people before claiming they have it easy. Everybody has problems, and nobody's problems are less important than yours.
@4 What I meant is that every single item on that list of yours can be changed with minimal, if not at most habitual, effort. In other words, stop whining.
I'm not saying I have it bad, and I don't mean to be dismissive if you have real problems, but seriously that is such a whiny dumb list. If you're that concerned about any of it, change it. You're lucky to be in a position where you don't have to worry about your effort being erased by periodic bad days. Get over yourself and do something. You're a deterministic human being, not a plant.
Are you fucking kidding me? This post is ASKING for people's answers. It would be whining if nobody asked what I would change about myself if I could but that was the SPECIFIC question, so don't get all more-mentally-toremented-than-thou just for getting a straight answer. You also fail to realize that BEING DISSATISFIED WITH SOMETHING DOES NOT MEAN THAT I'M NOT TRYING TO CHANGE IT. For all you know, I'm working hard at changing every single thing on this list. In fact I am, and I have been my whole life. Because there is no stopping point. There is no point at which I can say I'm done trying to improve myself. I'm confident enough or smart enough or courageous enough, so I don't need to try anymore. There is ALWAYS room for improvement because it's IMPOSSIBLE to be the ideal version of yourself. So no, my ideals cannot be "changed" with any sort of effort because no matter how smart or strong or talented I become, the list will stay the same. I will always want to become smarter and stronger and more talented. So whiny of me to be interested in continual self improvement.
And another thing you've failed to grasp is the very concept of depression, which I would have assumed would be obvious to you considering you're bipolar. On your down days, do you not experience the pain of apathy?? There are many days when I can't summon the motivation to get out of bed and try at life, let alone chipper up to learn some acrobatics or social skills. Because it's meaningless. Self improvement is meaningless, just like life. Sure, I can "get over myself" and work towards my goals on good days. And I do. But it's not so easy on the days when the senselessness of life is pervasive and crippling. I would assume that someone bipolar would understand the concept but hey...
Anyway, I've said my bit and I'm done with this thread. I know the kind of person you are and it's an ugly one. You saw that I laid out my flaws and insecurities nicely for you to pick at and you pounced on them. You saw that I hold too much regard for the opinion of others and you recognized it as an easy way for you to unload all of your own insecurities about yourself. I don't know why I ever expected better from this website after avoiding it for months.
Exactly like my current self, less fat. I'm not rotund/planet-esque but I'm reasonably sure I'd have a pretty attractive face if it weren't covered in fat.
The ideal version of me would be a cross between Michael Jordan, Leonhard Euler and Bill Gates (not for his success in the software industry but for his ability to live so modestly and give so much back).
So no, not close at all. But still got a few years left, so you never know! Lol
I would just like to be a little more stable in terms of how sociable I am. Its nothing major but I'm pretty sure different people see me completely differently based on what day I met them. If I'm going to be a social hermit I at least don't want to have days where I'm dying for company.
I mean, I'm kinda lazy, but then one would hardly want to possess the Protestant work ethic. And I could be smarter, but, I mean, I don't wanna be a nerd. And I guess more muscularity would be nice, but then again who likes those douchebags with arms like legs? Money would be cool, but it might just make me a dissolute rake, so no. You know what? I'm the perfect human being.
Basically like who I am now, except with a Mega-Man arm.
