I would wear them every day in the summer if I wasn't already a giant :( I probably wear them 1-2 times per week in the summer if they match my outfit and I don't have to go to work. There are so many cute styles and they really enhance the length of my legs. In the spring/fall sometimes I'll wear wedges or boots with heels, and in the winter (especially when it's snowy) I would never even attempt it.
Not enough. I wish I didn't feel too dressy wearing them, because I do love them, but I feel weird wearing them on a day-to-day basis (although I'm going to try and suck it up this year and just go with it). Same with lipsticks and eyeshadow looks.
Never. Like 3 said, I don't want to ruin my feet/legs. I would only wear them if it were some fancy occasion. They're cute but not worth it- comfort > looks for me.
I have some heels that I'll wear for a nice night out in the summer/spring/fall (1-2 times a month?). Never wear them around campus. My winter boots have a wedge heel, but it's a comfy height so that doesn't really count.
Yep. For me, it's not just a vanity thing. Growing up in the ballroom/latin dance community, my feet are used to that kind of stretch. In fact, sometimes, it's more comfortable.
I have boots with a slight heel for the winter, along with a pair of flat boots. I wear heels if I have time to get where I need to go. Running in heels is possible, but it wears out your feet faster and causes me a shit ton of anxiety.
Summer: every single day. ( I feel like they make my legs long and slim, especially when I wear shorts! )
ReplyDeleteWinter: never
Fall: depending on my mood.
Never. I haven't been able to find any that fit. Finding running shoes is bad enough...
ReplyDeleteNever. I don't want to ruin my feet or legs.
ReplyDeleteExactly, plus it takes 1.5x as long to walk anywhere

If there isn't snow or something else, frequently.
ReplyDeleteI typically wear them to work if it isn't icy and if the snow isn't up to my waist (so, lately, never).
ReplyDeleteIf I may ask all the ladies who responded yes: Why??? Just for vanity?
ReplyDeleteyes, and so what? you might as well ask why girls wear makeup
DeleteWhy the hell not? Guys do plenty of things out of vanity (don't tell me building muscle is all about strength gains...).
DeleteIts mostly about strength gains, the fact that muscle comes on is just a bonus
Deletenot for me I just want to fill out my shirt
Delete+100000
ReplyDeleteI love girls that wear heels but only if the rest of their outfit is more upscale as well
ReplyDeleteand that's not enough?

ReplyDelete^ Same here. Wear them every day in the winter but they aren't high.
