    2. Most likely not as it will probably be part-time, but it's for a good cause and reason so I agree with her choice. She used to be in management earning $90K+, but life can change.

  18. My father is a landed gentleman, makes 500K off rents on vast estates. No one works as we do not wish to sully our hands with the filth of the professions or vile and mechanical arts (i.e. Engineering). Rather we devote our time to playing in theorbo consorts, composing sestinas about Hecate, and going hawking with lammergeiers on our wrists and peasants as our quarry.

  21. Mom is a human resources director, dad is a hydrogeologist. Both have salaries around 100k. Dad tends to make a bit more from bonuses and company shares (oil industry), while my mom doesn't get those since she works for the public sector.

  32. I never really knew my parents but my godfather tells me that they both worked in criminal investigation. They must have made a lot because I got more inheritance money than I know what to do with. Apparently my dad was also a good athlete and my mom was really into chemistry. I do miss them sometimes, but I feel a little better when I remember that they died trying to protect me from the Dark Lord Voldemort.
